Zinwave reveals UNIaccess WIFI3
Full potential of Zinwave’s high capacity Wi-Fi offering comprising multichannel support to be unveiled during technology showcase session on 17th June
Zinwave, global suppliers of a unified connectivity platform for in-building wireless and IP coverage, will be presenting UNIaccess, its multichannel high capacity Wi-Fi module, at The Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC), taking place in Austin, Texas, from 15-18 June. Zinwave can be found on Booth Number 166.
HITEC, the world’s largest hospitality technology event, attracts over 5000 visitors and more than 300 high-tech companies, who gather to exhibit their products and services.
The full potential of Zinwave’s new high capacity Wi-Fi solution will be unveiled during a technology showcase session, led by Derek Paton, Zinwave’s Vice President for Business Development, on the 17th June at 08.00 a.m. Derek has over 30 years’ experience in wireless and international telecoms and has worked all over the world in various senior roles, focusing particularly on specialist wireless coverage solutions for high density buildings.
Zinwave recently confirmed its strategic alliance with Edgewater Wireless Inc.(YFI.v) and has integrated Edgewater’s patented WiFi3™ technology into its unique wideband DAS system to deliver the industry’s first dedicated high density, multi-channel wireless and Wi-Fi coverage solution.
Zinwave’s Wi-Fi-enhanced solution, branded as UNIaccess and part of the UNItivity product suite, has been specifically designed to address high-density network requirements of hotels, casinos, convention centers, sports stadia and arenas, corporate & college campuses, shopping malls and high pedestrian urban areas.
UNItivity supports any combination of IP services and wireless between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single hardware layer, regardless of protocol or modulation scheme. It is also the only system to support multiple FDD and TDD LTE services simultaneously across any spectrum allocated globally.
